As a trainer I work one-to-one with you to develop your writing skills as you develop your manuscript. This offers you hands-on advice and feedback useful for your work in progress, plus skills that you can apply to your future work.

In manuscript evaluation of both fiction and nonfiction I read mainly for voice, setting, dialogue, pace, character development and other aspects of storytelling. I also note grammar, spelling, punctuation, diction and style. On a separate sheet I write comments on the writing’s strengths and areas for further work.

My current writing and editing obligations prevent me from taking new students at this time.
