Awards and prizes

Ginger: The Life and Death of Albert Goodwin won the Arthur Ellis Award of the Crime Writers of Canada and the Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction.

Merlin's Web was first runner-up for the Crime Writers of Canada first novel award in 1988.

Awen was short-listed in manuscript for the Georgette Heyer Prize for Historical Fiction in Britain.
